The Hardened steel shaft is coated with a polyurethane clear coat for protection. The magnetic rotor is completely coated and sealed with an epoxy paint, and the sealed bearings are guaranteed for a long life. The Windtura 750 Copper Stator weighs over 10 pounds (4.5 kg) and is oversized stator for maximum power output. All of this comes in an hardened steel casing, with upgraded 304 stainless steel front and back covers, 6061 extruded aluminum body. The housing completely seals/protects copper stator and magnetic rotor and provides excellent corrosion resistance and heat dissipation.
